Sharni Vinson
Born in NSW, Australia, Sharni Vinson grew up in Sydney's southern beach suburb of Cronulla. At the age of 16 she participated at a National Level in swimming, holding 4 State records through high school. Sharni began dancing, singing and acting at an early age and became the third generation of actors in her family. Sharni's mother appeared in musical theatre and her grandmother, who was Australia's youngest ballerina from 1945, received a scholarship to the Borovansky Ballet Company. Sharni began her dance training with the Brent Street School of Performing Arts, Sydney. She trained for 10 years in every aspect of the art. In the year 17 when she graduated from high school Sharni was offered a contract with Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the girl-only pop group "Foxfire IV" which was whose first single "Roses," reached the top 50 on the Australian ARIA charts.
